We’ve created a variety of visualizations of our Motus data in Tableau and so I thought I’d share it here.
We’ve developed this visuals to help us make sense of the multiple variables regarding species, receivers, tag types, lifecycles, and study years. The main input is the data table generated by the Motus team’s R script, along with a metadata table about each tag, plus new calculated fields within Tableau. Some of the visuals are essentially recreations of what is available on the Motus website, and some are more customized for our needs.
