Does anyone have examples of mounting a large box (like action packer size) off the ground at a station? These would be likely be attached to a lattice style tower (such as the Wade GN)
There are some great options for mounting smaller boxes, but in our case, it might be fairly large and heavy – containing two batteries, all wiring, plus a SensorStation or SensorGnome.

Josh, we do this all the time. Essentially we build a shelf using slotted angle (or aluminum angle marine environments) and some PVC deck boards or treated wood. 4 u-bolts hold the bracket in place and 2 more bracket the action packer to the tower. I like to install this before the solar panel so I can stand on it and mount the panel high and out of the way. Pairing this with EMT conduit for the coax makes for a neat, sealed enclosure.
