I’m moving SG Hub (https://www.sensorgnome.net) to a new server today (3/3/2025) in order to get more disk space and reduce operating costs as a side-benefit. A couple of months ago I’ve worked with Brennen to get single sign-on working and I’m hoping to deploy it with this move. This means that instead of using the “well-known” username and password that I sent to many of you, you will need to log in using your Motus user/password on the motus site itself (well, on beta.motus.org until it can be moved to motus.org). If you find SG hub down today it’s probably because I’m fiddling with it. Note that Sensorgnomes upload data directly to motus.org, so this affects the monitoring only, not the data uploads.

SGHub did move on march 3rd and is now on a new server with more disk space and more oompf. Hopefully the reliability doesn’t drop…
Also, the SSO (login via Birds Canada / Motus) seems to be working, which will enable me to add more functionality as the site can now determine whether a user is a member of the project to which a Sensorgnome belongs. If you encounter any issues with the login please let me know asap!
