SensorStation data imports are currently paused

Hello everyone, we are currently experiencing a data processing issue and as a consequence have had to pause data imports from SensorStations. If you have not seen new data for your Sensorstation since July 24th that is likely the reason. You can always check the connectivity status on the CTT portal for internet-connected stations.

We’ll follow up when the issue has been resolved.

Hello everyone,

the processing of CTT tags has now restarted. It will likely take several days for the accumulated backlog to clear up, but tag detection data should already be trickling in. This was caused by a hardware disk issue. New hardware has been ordered and should be ready next week, but I have diverted the process to a different path for the time being, so tag data are available.

The outage did impact all CTT tag detections, regardless of the source (SensorStations or SensorGnomes, submitted over network or manually uploaded to motus.org), but also Lotek tag detections on SensorStations that are being submitted over network.

Note also that because of the backlog, this will also delay data availability of new Lotek tag detections over the coming days.

We will post an update on the progress by the end of the week or early next.

Cheers and our apologies for the inconvenience

Hello Motus,

Following on my earlier note, I wanted to say that our data processing backlog has finally caught-up, and that all data processing should now be back on its regular schedule.

Cheers

Thanks Denis et al!

If we still haven’t seen our tower update on motus, should we be concerned? Our tower seems to still be alive and functioning according to the CTT portal but it hasn’t updated on motus since August 4.
