Is sensorgnome.net having a problem? SSH Certificate issue? I can ping sensorgnome.net and it responds, but I get Error code: 502 Bad Gateway with Firefox and ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR wit DuckduckGo…
Been seeing the same for the last few days.
Issue applies to Safari, Firefox and Brave browsers.
I have also not been able to access it for some days now.
Apologies, I’m on it, disk filled up and I didn’t notice in time. Need to fix-up some stuff, unfortunately.
Site is back up, not all SGs have reconnected yet. I will need to check that everything is back to normal in a few hours.
Great! Still some kind of connection problem on my side, reports:
“No Server Connection. Reconnecting… sockio: off.”
… and DuckDuckGo/Edge browsers returns error
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Please give it another try. I’m having difficulties with some SG logs filling up the disk. I cleared a lot more this time and hope it holds until I get back home and can look at it in more detail. My browser didn’t have difficulties connecting though, so there may be a different problem for you. Maybe you can describe a bit more in detail what happens when you point your browser at https://www.sensorgnome.net if you still have issues.
@TvE looking at the last couple weeks on sensorgnome.net, I’m wondering what the implication is of the periods of sever issues on data uploads. Are the missing blocks just reflective of missing logs, or are there also data files that weren’t uploaded during the apparent down time?
@Arne_Andersson FYI you need the www subdomain (e.g. www.sensorgnome.net). I keep posting it as just sensorgnome.net myself for simplicity, but that url is not currently configured. The error message suggest it’s certificate related but I’m not sure of the details.
The gaps only affect the stats and logs sent to sensorgnome.net, they are not related to data uploads to Motus. Those are performed independently. If you’re concerned about a specific station you can look at the “files to upload” chart on the station tab. For example:
This shows that currently there are practically no files to upload, thus the uploads have caught up with any backlog.
