I have a station at Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops, BC), connected to a sensorGnome. The wifi on the roof is a bit weak and connection sometimes comes and goes, but everything seems to be working. Except, the data upload keeps failing.
The station name shows up so the connection between Motus.org is working, it also says OK for the motus.org connection, Wifi and everything else is working and says Connected, and OK, and it says there’s 222 files to upload. I have a test tag that is getting detected and I can see it on the pulse and tags menu of the SG.
When I click on the “?” beside the failure button on the SG Hub webpage I get the following error:
at DataFiles.updateUpDownDate (/opt/sensorgnome/control/datafiles.js:373:23)at MotusUploader.doUpload (/opt/sensorgnome/control/motus_up.js:296:23)at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5)
at async MotusUploader.doUploadAll (/opt/sensorgnome/control/motus_up.js:246:16)
I don’t have a wifi antenna attached to the SG (should I??? I haven’t seen anything on them in the Motus documentation). I have installed 2 more stations now, both on houses (TRU faculty) and both have strong wifi connection, but I’m still getting the same issue. So I don’t think it’s the internet connection anymore.
Oh cool! Nice to e-meet another TRU alumni! I did my undergrad here and now I’m back for my MSc
