Motus Technician position in Montana

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking applications for a wildlife technician to primarily take leadership on the installation and maintenance of Motus stations for the department as we strive to support a growing network in Montana.

This position may be based in Helena or any regional office statewide. Work is primarily field-based, most office time will be during the winter. This position will require the technician to travel extensively across the state. Technician may spend several weeks working in a region and must have the flexibility to be away from home for a majority of the field season. Work will occasionally require a change and re-organization of work schedules and travel plans due to weather or other circumstances.

This is a not a base position, and the FTE must be requested each biennium.
