I wanted to share this file that I created for 3D printing a demo version of a motus tag. I’ve attached some photos of how we are using the tag to talk about and educate our Black Birders Week students on motus tag deployment and bird banding using a plush bird. We 3D printed the file, painted it, added a label and wire, and created a leg-loop harness out of stretchy bracelet cord. Feel free to print and use for your own educational demos!
