Motus data not uploading

Hi we’re seeing that our data hasn’t been uploaded since the 19th July. We may have had a broadband interruption but the station is reporting as being cnnect3d t the internet. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

John, uploads have generally been happening, but you are not saying whether you have a SensorStation or a Sensorgnome, nor which version of those. Also, are you talking about CTT detections or Lotek detection data? And how is your station connected (wifi, ethernet, cell)? Also, when you say “have not been happening”, what are you looking at?

Hi
We have a CTT Sensorstation detecting Lotek tags
Our station had a power cut and the router lost connection with the broadband provider. We reset the router and restablished the connection. We connect the sensorstation to the internet via a WiFi connection.

We can see tag detections on the sensorstation (by connecting a laptop directly to the station) but the dashboard shows a historic date on the latest data date.

An update on this one: This ended up being related to the FunCube frequency setting as defined on the SensorStation. In this case, the frequency was set to the actual frequency for this region (150.1) and not the actual frequency minus 4 kHz (150.096). The distinction may seem somewhat trivial but if affects the frequency offset as recorded in the raw data. This in turn caused the recorded frequency offset to exceed the threshold permitted during processing. The tagfinder that runs on the SG or SS observes no such threshold (nor does it account for burst interval) which is why the tags were showing up locally, but not in the processed data. We were able to reprocess the previous data for this receiver with the frequency offset parameter corrected so the earlier detections appeared.

Note this the issue discussed here is the same one.
