My apologies- To clarify, the long-range detections I obtained were ‘manual’, meaning I was holding the receiver and antenna, thus able to adjust gain of the receiver and angle of antenna on vertical and horizontal axes (which I believe allows for much longer detection distances than stationary, automated telemetry towers). The tags in both cases were in previously identified locations, still attached to bats, and in houses. I am afraid that I do not have gain or signal strength data to share. On our stationary, automated telemetry (motus) towers we have not been able to obtain detection distances anywhere near these distances.
