Manual nanotag tracking with SRX1200?

Hello!

I am trying to manually track some Lotek nanotags with the SRX1200. The tag ID is not coming up on the display, so I don’t know which tag I am hearing. I can hear the signal from the tags just fine, but there is no ID # on the display. Any ideas how to get the SRX1200 to display the tag ID during manual tracking?

Hi Dan,

The most likely issue here is just that the code set does not match between the tags and the receiver. It should say on your tag order what code set was used (ie. Lotek4) and you need to set that on the SRX receiver.

Another option could be that the signal is nog loud enough, so you
need to be "homing in" more to get the signal read by the receiver.

Ok, figured it out. When I set up the tracking manually on the receiver using the “cheat sheet” instructions, it displays the tag ID just fine.

When I use the SRX1200 Host to enter the frequencies, it didn’t work/recognize something, or I did it incorrectly and the tag IDs wouldn’t display.
