Hi folks

I’ve got a station, SG-9FD3RPI49FDB, that seems to be connected and sending information to the SG-Hub but also unable to upload it’s detection files.

Does this appear to be the case and if so any hints to remedy?

Hi Mark, one thing you can do is ensure that the “sg-uploader” user has been added to your project. This is the Motus user under whose account these data files are uploaded. Adding this user to your project can sometimes resolve uploading issues in the event that you have a solid network connection. That’s found under Manage Data > Project collaborators.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll look into that.

Drove out to the SG yesterday afternoon, by the time i got there the SG had resolved the file transfer issue. The SG uses a bridge router and is connected to that router via ethernet cable. The landowner mentioned that he had cycled the building power a few times that morning to work on the building heat. I’m guessing that the bridge router had stalled for several days and the power cycling had reset it. I’m also guessing that the SG switched to wifi when the bridge router stalled and was making intermittent connection to the more distance main router thus updating the SG-Hub with bits of information but the connection was not stable enough to transfer larger files.

Another learning. :)
