For Session 1, we encourage ONE person per country (please coordinate yourself!) to present a 5 minute summary on following guiding questions (slides optional, can also be spontanous):
- Who are you representing? Institutions/people/team
- How long are you / your country into Motus already?
- What are your leading biological research questions, that you (will) tackle with motus?
- How many (roughly) and which animals do you tag per year?
- how many Motus stations are you running and where? How does your funding work for motus stations? How long are you planning to let those stations run in the future?
- Any specific need for cooperation?
The Order of countries will be roughly geographcally North(east)–> South(west), resulting in: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, France, Greece, Israel + Africa + missing countries

For the two Discussion rounds, we would like to collect some Europe-specific problems, that we can discuss together and with Members of Motus Central, which will likely join for these sessions. We are also interested which topics, you would like to discuss together. Therefore, please add suggestions for discussions (Problems+Other topics) as comment to this post until 2024-01-20. We will summarise them and will shape them to a coherent discussion session.
